After two injury ravaged years, Ger Brennan is set to announce his retirement from inter-county football today.
Brennan picked up his second All-Ireland medal after Dublin's victory over Mayo in the 2013 All-Ireland final. He has not played for the Dubs since.
The following March, he did captain St. Vincent's to the All-Ireland club title, but has struggled with an Achilles problem for the past couple of years.
The Herald report that he will announce his retirement today.
He retires from the inter-county scene with many accolades, including two All-Ireland titles, five Leinster titles and the Balls Man of the Year award, 2014.
