All-Ireland champions Armagh lead the way with 11 of their players among the 45 PwC All-Star nominations for 2024.

The 45 PwC All-Star nominations were announced on Thursday morning along with three-men shortlists for Young Footballer and Footballer of the Year.

Beaten finalists Galway are also strongly represented with eight nominations while Donegal have seven. Kingpins Dublin and Kerry have four each with the Clifford brothers both getting the nod for the Kingdom.

It was a historic year for Louth as they reached the All-Ireland quarter final and Craig Lennon, Sam Mulroy Tommy Durnin and Donal McKenny are all acknowledged.

Brian Stack and Diarmuid Murtagh are in contention for Roscommon while Aidan O'Shea and Ryan O'Donoghue fly the flag for Mayo. Darragh Canavan and Niall Morgan are in for Tyrone with Daniel O'Mahony the sole Cork representative.

Galway's John Maher and Paul Conroy will vie it out with Armagh's Barry McCambridge for Footballer of the Year with Donegal's Ciaran Moore, Oisin Conaty and Johnny McGrath in the shake-up for Young Footballer.
