Just when it looked like the siege was lifted, Armagh have postponed their scheduled press conference just a few hours before it was due to take place.
No definite time or date has been put forward for when it will now happen and this, coupled with the lateness of the postponement and the months of silliness previously seems to have sent GAA journalists over the edge.
Look like truce talks in Gaza - sorry, Crossmaglen - have broken down. Today's Armagh press briefing, ending the boycott, just postponed!

I wonder are Armagh looking a reaction for the late postponement? Probably a clever move, they might have actually had to answer to 1/2 — Declan Bogue (@DeclanBogue) August 6, 2014
People who were not interested in parish-pump journalism 2/2

Playing a blinder, Armagh. A blinder. #GAA — John Fogarty (@JohnFogartyIrl) August 6, 2014
Armagh can opt not to speak to media, if they wish, but scheduling a press call and cancelling it a couple of hrs beforehand is nonsense
— Mark Gallagher (@bailemg) August 6, 2014
Turns out Armagh aren't speaking today after all. Surely it's one-all now in the 'disrespected' stakes. Bit of a joke the whole thing. — Paul Keane (@keanepaul11) August 6, 2014
The GAA and the press should just ignore Armagh. I highly doubt any of them will ever say anything remotely interesting anyway

Armagh press event scheduled for later today has been postponed. They're really doing themselves no favours with this carry on. — Eoghan Cormican (@cormicaneoghan) August 6, 2014
@Armagh_GAA media briefing postponed with two and a half hours notice - this is getting ridiculous - make up yer mind lads #gaa

Armagh trolling Ireland I see. Aren't they gas craic all the same. — Ger Gilroy (@gergilroy) August 6, 2014
Of course every hack tweeting about Armagh is falling into their cunning plan. Not that I know what that plan is, of course.
