One of the biggest fights of the day wasn't in the blockbuster UFC 196 - but between Kerry and Donegal in the Allianz League.
In a brutal first half, there was two red cards and two black cards shared between the two counties. Things kicked off when Alan Fitzgerald was sent off after punching Neil McGee after getting locked in a dangerous-looking armbar. Kerry's James O'Donoghue was among those criticising the refs for card distribution.
Red card for a little punch and nothing for trying to break a fellas fingers. Good umpire.

Twitter was quick to point out the irony of it happening the same weekend as McGregor vs Diaz.
There's a football match threatening to break out on the middle of this fight #Kerry #donegal #GAA #AllianzLeagues

Rarely watch football anymore but this game is more of a Royal Rumble match as opposed to a football match #KerryDonegal
