I don’t believe there is anything I love more than watching football. I’m addicted, totally addicted to the game. Sure I’m stuck in the bloody thing for the last 70-odd years so I’m afraid I’ll keep at it now until I go into the grave.
The greatest ever. In an era when the word's impact is lessened due to overindulgence, Mick O'Dwyer is a pure and true legend.
The Irish public was treated to an absolutely magnificent documentary tonight. 'Micko' was a fantastic insight into one of the Kingdom's most pivotal figures. An outstanding player and even better manager, O'Dwyer's love of the game shone through as the programme captured what made the man tick and how exactly he enjoyed the phenomenal career that he did.
"Why should I give it to ye when I can score it myself" brilliant #Micko

Mick O'Dwyer's grandfather swam 3 miles from Scariff Island to the mainland for help when his wife had difficulty giving birth, so ladies, don't settle. #Micko

Can we have a documentary just of #Micko just watching matches?

As has been proven before, there really is nothing quite like a good GAA documentary. Congratulations must go to all involved on an exceptional programme, about an exceptional man.
