Ah isn't this just lovely.
As part of its #ThisIsMajor campaign, Electric Ireland has delved into the real lives of some of the Minor players, and their families, in order to tell their inspiring stories. With the Leaving Cert results out and CAO offers landing on Monday, Electric Ireland wanted to explore the additional pressures these young men face as they prepare to leave home for college, whilst maintaining the same level of dedication and passion for the sport they can’t live without.
Ciaran Brady plays Minor football for Galway, and GAA runs deep in his veins. His mother Emily Furey has been at every game he has ever played, she absolutely beams with pride when talking about her son.
It's not only the players who are incredibly dedicated to The Championship, it's their families too.
A lovely video.
Throughout the Championship fans can follow the action, support the Minors and be a part of something major through the hashtag #ThisIsMajor.
