Lord above, the things you can get away with after winning the All-Ireland. Super sub Kevin McMenamon took the mic this evening in Merrion Square and hoarsely delivered this rather haunting ditty about the Dublin All-Ireland winners. I suppose he gets 10-day amnesty on all decisions after his performance yesterday, so we won't even judge. The video was shot from a distance but the audio quality of this future Christmas #1 is spot-on. Kevin Mc based this on a Damien Dempsey song, though we believe he didn't write the lyrics. Most of the Dublin team get a mention. The best lines are about 'the poshest fullback line in the world' and Paul Flynn's Ivan Drago haircut.
