Not long after Kerry won its 37th All-Ireland Football Championship in September, the county got a major boost for 2015. That being news of the imminent return of Tommy Walsh from Aussie Rules.
Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has confirmed that the 26-year-old will play in the McGrath Cup against IT Tralee next month.
Walsh won an All-Ireland medal in 2009 along with another Aussie Rules-playing Kerryman, Tadhg Kennelly. The Listowel man recently called that the most "pressurised" year of his life and cautioned Walsh about the extra burden that comes with being in constant contact with the public rather being cocooned in a professional environment.
