The concept of a hangover doesn't appear to exist Shannonside. Limerick's post-All-Ireland form continues to impress as John Kiely's outfit secured a nine-point victory over Kilkenny in Nowlan Park.
It finished 2-18 to 0-15 with Aaron Gillane's 0-9 and Shane Dowling's 1-2 swinging the game. At the other end, Tom Condon was a corner-back possessed, attacking every ball as if it was that last-minute Joe Canning puck.
Condon was named Man of the Match and speaking to TG4 post-match, explained that the last few weeks have been far from just celebrating.
Since the All-Ireland, it has been all go. We haven't had much time, fair enough we had a week or two after the All-Ireland. We've been so busy going around to different clubs and parishes, stuff like that. We knew in our own heads we had to keep things ticking over. We had a thing in Boston which broke it up nicely. We knew had a team holiday coming up so we had to be doing that bit ourselves.
