The Allianz Football League 2018 is finally over after the refixed last round of fixtures took place today. In Division 2 Meath took on Louth while Down played Tipperary with relegation looming for either Down or Meath.
Today's GAA results mean Down have been condemned to Division 3 despite beating Tipperary at Pairc Esler 2-11 to 1-11. It is Eamon Burns’ side first win of the league and attention will now turn to the opening round of the Ulster Championship when they face Antrim.
Meath's victory after Louth denied Pete McGrath's team their last chance for a victory in the league as a strong second-half run saw Meath run out 1-12 to 0-07.
It means we now know all of the relegated teams. From Division One: Donegal, Kildare. Division Two: Louth, Down. Division Three: Derry, Wexford.
Today's Divisional finals finished with victory for Laois in Division Four, while Armagh overcame Fermanagh 1-17 to 0-17.
