Tipperary emerged victorious in this afternoon's All-Ireland premier junior camogie final, with a last gasp free from Jenny Grace leading them to a 0-12 to 1-8 victory over Laois at Croke Park this afternoon.
It was an incredibly close game to open the day's proceedings at GAA headquarters, with the two sides remaining within touching distance throughout.
The contest was still very much in the balance in the closing stages, although a couple of late points from Tipperary would ultimately prove to be the difference on the day. This late free from Grace was enough to lead the Premier County to victory.

Come on Tipp! Come on Tipp!
I'm absolutely thrilled for them. It was great to get the win, they deserved the win. I mean, I know it was a very close contest. We didn't play well in the first half, we weren't allowed and that's a credit to Laois for stopping our flow and everything like that.
I thought we worked very hard in the second half. [They deserved] deserved at least a draw, lucky probably to get the free so close to the end, but that's what happens in these games. In tight games like that, anything can win it.
I'm delighted for the players, delighted for Tipp.
Come on Tipp!
Brilliant stuff.
You get the sense that the Tipperary players and management will certainly make the most of this victory.
