Like their Munster counterparts Clare earlier in the day, Tipperary are also into their first ever All-Ireland quarter-final. Next weekend, they will take on Galway at Croke Park.
Saturday - unless you're from Roscommon or Derry - was probably the summer's most exciting day of football so far.
Derry looked to be heading for Croke Park next weekend when an Eoghan Brown goal gave them a 67th minute lead. However, Conor Sweeney was the hero for Tipp as he scored two late points to give them the win - 1-21 to 2-17.
There were some great scenes post-match involving Tipperary players and management.
This was some of the reaction on line.
Game of the year so far. Tipp will rattle Galway. Derry can have genuine excuse of running out of legs, unlike Roscommon who had none. #GAA

Tipp are the 23rd county to reach all-Ireland quarter finals. Seismic day for Gaelic football.

Easily the best day of the football Championship. Really have to hand it to Clare and Tipperary.
