The Lidl Ladies National League Division Two final between Tipperary and Cavan ended in remarkable drama at Parnell Park on Sunday afternoon.
With the clock ticking towards time up and Tipperary leading by a point - the scoreboard read 0-21 to 3-11 - the referee awarded Cavan a penalty.

However, just seconds later - following a discussion with the other officials - the referee overturned his decision and instead decided to throw up the ball.
Many of the Cavan players were visibly distraught following the final whistle.
Speaking to TG4 after the game, Tipperary's Aishling Moloney was notably honest, admitting that she thought a penalty should have been awarded.
"We were lucky there with that penalty. I thought it was a penalty myself," said Moloney.
