This autumn's International Rules series in Australia will see a few changes implemented; first and foremost it'll actually no longer be a series but just the one game instead, taking place in Perth on 22 November.
The biggest change in terms of the gameplay is that goalkeepers will now have to hit every kick-out beyond their own 45 metre line, with a free-kick given to the opposition for failing to do so.
Other rule changes include upping the number of consecutive handpasses allowed to six and the abolishment of the mark for backward passes.
It's still unclear whether the games will continue past this year's event and it's hard to imagine interest remaining high if Ireland are so dominant again this November.
