It has been a difficult year for all those involved in the GAA, regardless of the level you occupy. Be it underage teams, junior 'B' level, or all the way up to inter-county, there have been struggles along the way.
The circumstances of this year is something we hopefully will never have to face again, but it was inspiring to see the way many people around the country persevered.
'The Toughest Season' is a new book from Sportsfile and AIB that documents what certainly was a unique year in GAA history.
Supporting charities such as AGE NI, Alone, FoodCloud, Pieta & Soar, it documents some of the best pictures that encapsulated the spirit of GAA people around the country during this difficult period.

The GAA streamed matches and shot them all over the world. It gave people something to talk about when they met on a Thursday or a Saturday, previewing or reviewing. It was a topic of conversation for people who often had nowhere to be or nobody to meet...
Can you just imagine what it's going to be like when they do come back? It's just going to be unbelievable. Every game that we took for granted so far will not be the case anymore.
