Busy weekend incoming for club GAA fans.
There are knock-out games all over the country but the ones that catch our eye are in Tyrone, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Tipperary, Offaly, Kerry, Dublin and Kildare.
Thursday
Carrickmore v Killyclogher, Tyrone SFC QF replay, 7.30, Tyrone TV
Refuse to Lose is the slogan of the brilliant knock-out Tyrone SFC. It certainly applies to these two after their 2-9 to 1-12 draw last Friday night. They lock horns again tonight, with star players such as Mark Bradley and Tiernan McCann on show.
Saturday
Thomastown v Ballyhale Shamrocks, Kilkenny SHC QF, 1.30, Clubber
Ballyhale rose their game when they needed to against James Stephens, making this a daunting task for Thomastown. But last year's intermediate champs have had no trouble adapting to senior hurling so far and will be hoping to push their neighbours all the way.
Coralstown Kinnegad v The Downs, Westmeath SFC SF, 4.45, Iarmhí TV
2022 champs The Downs will face a stiff challenge in last year's beaten finalists.
Moycarkey Borris v Toomevara, Tipperary SHC SF, 4.45, Clubber
Tipperary's second and third most successful clubs meet in what is a novel semi-final. 12-time winners Moycarkey Borris are in their first semi-final in 40 years while 21 time champs Toomevara haven't lifted Dan Breen since 2008. Max Hackett and Darragh McCarthy are the men to watch.
Errigal Ciaran v Clonoe O'Rahillys, Tyrone SFC QF Replay, Tyrone GAA TV
Errigal Ciaran and Clonoe O'Rahillys also got the Refuse to Lose memo. They drew 2-9 apiece last time out and you can expect this one to go down to the wire as well.
Sunday
Mid Kerry v Kenmare Shamrocks, Kerry SFC R3, 3.00, Clubber
Mid Kerry have lost the last two finals and they'll face a stern test against Kenmare, buoyed by a thirteen point win over Feale Rangers.
Edenderry v Tullamore, Offaly SFC SF, 3.45, Clubber
Edenderry haven't reached the final since 2015 and they have a tough task against reigning champs Tullamore.
Na Fianna v Ballyboden St Enda's, Dublin SHC QF, 4.00, TG4
A repeat of last year's Dublin SHC final, with the northsiders winning at their ease on that occasion. The new Dublin hurling manager Niall Ó Ceallacháin remains on the line for Na Fianna.
Thurles Sarsfields v Loughmore-Castleiney, Tipperary SHC QF, 4.00, Clubber
Kingpins Thurles are going through a famine, six years without a title. Loughmore-Castleiney denied them in the 2021 decider and the dual club will be hoping to keep the Sars down again.
Moorefield v Sarsfields, Kildare SFC QF, 5.00, Clubber
'The Newbridge derby' should exude passion and entertainment in the most recent instalment of a brilliant rivalry.
