So there it is - after two games, one week of controversy and a feast of scoring excellence, Dublin have booked their place in the All-Ireland Final.
Substitutions proved pivotal for Dublin against Mayo today with Michael Dara McAuley launching Dublin into another gear to convert a four point deficit into a nine point win.
But one man is firmly in the Twitter spotlight. He's delivered crucial scores for Dublin in the past and today brought no difference to the consistency of his service. Kevin McManamon gathered possession just outside the D and propelled forward before unleashing a left footed shot to the roof of Rob Hennelly's net.
And here's how his, and Dublin's exploits, were received on Twitter:
Dublin's bench won the match! McManamon, MDMC outstanding when they came on! #greatgame

Brilliant game of football, only missing a cliffhanger ending. Great credit to the Dubs, Mayo always looked like conceding goals though

Forget going through the decades. The only history I think about when it comes to Kerry-Dublin is what happened in the 2011 Final. — Sinéad Kissane (@sineadkissane) September 5, 2015
A third consecutive championship defeat to Dublin? Kerry's motivation right there. #GAA
