We've had two weeks of hurling on Sky Sports already. This evening saw the debut of Gaelic football for the broadcaster with the Connacht (Connort if you're Jim White) semi-final between Galway and Sligo.
These British viewers just discovering the sport are really not quite sure what to make of it
Not sure what's going off on sky sports 3? It's a football, but they are using hands.. And kicking it over the bar! And someone is in net?

How's he meant to save it if they can ping it over the bar for a point? And surely it's handball anyway?

Gaelic football? Load of shite!

I love sky sports during the summer. Just enjoying some Gaelic football. Both teams seem to be losing 0-3 to themselves, which I like

Turns out Gaelic football has quite a presence on twitter. And derby has a team. Maybe Gaelic football can be my sport #GaelicLeague

I've always been convinced there must be ONE sport I'm good at. Football - no. Cricket - no. Rugby - absolutely no. GAELIC?? WHO KNOWS?
— Greg Moss (@greg_724) June 21, 2014
What the fuck is this shite on sky sports 3???????????

"What's this?" Asks Libby. I inform her it's Gaelic football. Her reply "what! They're all gay!?"

Gaelic football is bloody hilarious. When's the World Cup?!

Just enduring my first experience of Gaelic football. Is the rugby meets football meets basketball meets quidditch?
— Ross Campbell (@Rossall123) June 21, 2014
I'm at a pub showing Gaelic football. I think they use the same scoring system as quiddich. pic.twitter.com/ILPqevLzlS

I have been watching Gaelic Football for one minute and I already have no idea what is happening
— George (@Head1ngton) June 21, 2014
I believe it to be a combination of football, rugby, basketball, netball and boxing
