It was the busiest and most entertaining weekend of the GAA championships so far with Kerry and Kilkenny captured the first two provincial titles of the year.
Elsewhere, we had a thriller in Ennis on Saturday, Monaghan marched on in their replay against Armagh while other counties' summer came to an end across both the hurling and football qualifiers.
Here are some of the best tweets:
Shane O'Donnell will have to give Ruby Walsh back his saddle and get back hurling for Clare if they're to retain their crown! #Jockeying

I'm shocked at Corks performance. Full back cleaned. Midfield cleaned. Kerry's passing immense. Joy to watch. O Donohoe is top class. #gaa — emlyn mulligan (@emlynmulligan) July 6, 2014
After very promising first few months to year, seems like Cork haven't recovered from Dublin blitzing them in 2nd half of league semi #GAA

Monaghan should have won by more. Much the better team today. The bigger picture though is the overall standard of refereeing. Disgraceful. — Steven McDonnell (@Killeavy13) July 6, 2014
I really don't like the way @TheSundayGame and others keep asking losing managers if they'll be quitting. It's hurling not soccer #gaa

It would be wise of the keyboard warriors to remember that our real warriors, our players in the arena, wear more than their county jerseys
