The Sunday World has published the contents of what they allege is Kerry 'secret code' on how to beat the Dubs and win the All-Ireland.
Reading the story, it seems to be less of a code and more a series of positive thinking mantras aimed at getting the team in the right frame of mind.
The Kerry players refer to each other 'assassins' and, somewhat boldly, '2015 champions'.
Other watchwords include 'ruthless', 'egoless', 'aggressive' and 'physical'. Not to mention the Spanish loanword 'picardia' - a word which translates as slyness and cunning.
With great relish, Roy Curtis related how it can even be interpreted as 'the Spanish equivalent of cute hoor', though Spanish cute hoors are presumably a pale imitation of the real McCoy which, as we know, can only be found in that part of Munster.
In truth, the 'code' amounts to no more than a few watchwords pinned to a dressing room wall, though the revelation that they refer to each other as 2015 champions is mildly interesting.
