Ballyboden St. Enda's won their third Dublin SFC title with an upset victory against St. Vincent's at Parnell Park on Sunday. Vincent's were aiming for their third consecutive crown.
The southside club emerged victorious, 2-8 to 0-10.
Ballyboden got off to a quick start, leading by 1-7 to 0-3 at the break. Their goal came from veteran forward Andrew Kerin.
Kerin grabbed Ballyboden's second goal shortly after half time. Michael Darragh MacAuley played in Conal Keaney with a superb long foot pass. Keaney was brought down for a penalty which was dispatched by Kerin.
Vincent's launched a valiant second half comeback, scoring seven unanswered points. It would not be enough however.
