St. Mary's Cahirciveen progressed to the Munster intermediate championship final with a facile win against Corofin on Clare on Saturday.
Leading 2-13 to 0-0 at the half, the Maurice Fitzgerald-managed side went onto score 4-21, only conceding a point in the last minute of the game.

According to Kerry journalist Murt Murphy, the Corofin point came thanks to a free, which, possibly, was a bit soft.

St. Mary's players have been caught up in a major fixture pileup in the Kingdom.
South Kerry - the divisional side whom Mary's players play for in the senior county championship - made it all the way to the final of that competition. Last weekend's final finished in a draw, meaning there's a replay set for next weekend.
St. Mary's players - such as Bryan Sheehan - have also been competing for their club side during this time.
