Sky Sports have released a brand new TV ad to launch their 2018 GAA Championship coverage. The ad, which features the tagline "Be Inside The Game", champions the Sky Sports pundits and demonstrates how their expert analysis and fresh perspectives on the modern game gets fans engaged with the game.
This year, the crew will again include a brilliant panel of analysts across hurling and football, including Peter Canavan, Jim McGuinness, James Horan, Senan Connell, Jamesie O'Connor, JJ Delaney, and Ollie Canning.
The new format in both the hurling and football championships this year means the hurling championship is at full speed very early on, and this is reflected with Sky Sports launching their season of exclusive games with two massive double headers from the Leinster and Munster Championships.
The live coverage gets underway on Saturday 2 June with a huge game in Leinster between All-Ireland Champions Galway and Davy Fitgerald's Wexford in a repeat of last year's Leinster Final. That's followed the same evening by the clash of Cork and Limerick in Munster. With the Munster Championship promising to be insanely close in the new format, every game is going to be massive, and this promises to be a must-win game for both teams.
The following week sees another double header of hurling on Sky Sports with Dublin taking on Galway and Wexford facing old rivals Kilkenny.
From there, the football championship kicks into gear, and among the full summer of exclusive games, Sky Sports will have five of the new "Super 8" games, the exciting new All-Ireland Quarter Final season.
It promises to be an exciting summer!
