Sky Sports have unveiled their lineup of live games for the 2022 GAA championships.
The early start to the championships for 2022 means that their coverage gets underway in just under two weeks, with Wexford v Galway in the Leinster hurling championship and Fermanagh v Tyrone in the Ulster football championship throwing in on the 16th April.
Most intriguing in Sky's roster of live GAA for 2022, however, is the Munster semi-final between Kerry and Cork.
The semi-final between the old rivals has caused controversy in recent days. Munster GAA were forced to remove Cork's home advantage, due to an Ed Sheeran concert in Pairc Uí Chaoímh. That move has not gone down well with the Cork footballers.
Regardless of where the match ends up taking place, it will be broadcast live on Sky on May 7. It is just one of an impressive set of games for the subscription-based broadcaster.
Sky announce live GAA championship fixtures for 2022
Sky Sports are entering their ninth season of broadcasting GAA. Having entered the market in 2014, they continue to broadcast 20 championship games a year.
They will share six of those games with RTÉ, with the two broadcasters sharing the rights to both of the All-Ireland senior finals, as well as all four semi-finals.
Sky's selections for their other 14 games were revealed on Friday morning - and it's an impressive line up that includes the defending All-Ireland champions in both codes.
