As with last year, Sky have announced that they will hold exclusive rights to fourteen games. This package will consist of eight Saturday evening qualifiers, two All-Ireland football quarter-finals involving Dub... eh, apologies, the Leinster champions and the Ulster champions, and four provincial championship matches, two on a Saturday and two on a Sunday.
The highlights of last year's exclusive Sky coverage was the Dublin quarter-final against Monaghan in the football, while the new venture also brought with it a great form of entertainment in the reaction British fans to hurling in particular.
Hopefully this summer will throw up a few more gems like this:
Watching this All Ireland Hurling Final on Sky Sports. How are people not killed playing this game?! Are there any rules? Wow

Watching a hurling match, I don't know what's happening but I'm excited.

Watching Hurling and I don't think I'll ever enjoy any other sports again. It's absolutely mental!

The GAA are adamant the Sky 'component' of the deal has been a massive success and that the ambition of the move was to make the games accessible to people in Britain.
