Simon Zebo had to make a difficult choice as young sportsman, whether to pursue a professional career in rugby or to try his hand at excelling in the amateur sport of GAA.
In an interview as part of the new RTE series Thank GAA It's Friday, Zebo opened up about choosing a sport to specialise in and gave some insights into hurling in his beloved county Cork.
The Munster and Ireland back was a gifted hurler for his club Blackrock before he made the switch to the game with the oval ball. As you can see from this video, hurling is still something Zebo still holds dear to his heart.
