Players from both St Mary's and Mary Immaculate have been rewarded with personal recognition, after dominating this year's third level competitions, with seven players from St Mary's being named in the Sigerson Cup Rising Stars team, and eight Mary I players recognised in the Fitzgibbon Cup team.
Of the players named in the Sigerson team, four hail from Tyrone, namely Kieran McGeary, Conor Meyler, Conall McCann and Cathal McShane. They're joined by St Mary's teammates Kevin McKernan, Oisin O'Neill and Michael Fitzpatrick.
Other big names to make the side are All-Ireland winners Michael Fitzsimons, Jack McCaffery and Kerry's new midfield maestro, Jack Barry.
Meanwhile, Tipperary dominate the Fitzgibbon Cup Rising Stars team, led by Mary I's David Sweeney, Ronan Maher and Stephen Cahill. Their Mary I colleagues Conor Twomey, Michael O Neill, Cian Lynch and Aaron Gillane join them in the side.
Elsewhere Tipp hurlers Willie Connors and Michael Breen make the team, representing Limerick IT and UCC respectively.
