Kilmacud Crokes forward Shane Horan has completed an inter-county transfer to Offaly and will be available to manager John Maughan for the 2019 season.
Horan was a key figure in the Dublin club's Leinster championship run. Per the Irish Mirror, he has completed a transfer that will see him line out for the county of his parents. The 27-year-old can still line out for Kilmacud due to this family link.
It is a welcome boost for Maughan who recently expressed disappointment at the number of players who turned down invitations to join the panel.
Horan is a skilled and commanding forward and he will now be available for the remainder of the O'Byrne Cup.
