Setanta Ó hAilpín has been left without an AFL club after he was one of five players delisted by Greater Western Sydney Giants.
The Cork man has been with the club for two seasons but tore his ACL on his debut in 2012. It caused Ó hAilpín to miss almost the entirety of his first season. After completing his comeback, he managed just eight appearances during the 2012/13 campaign.
Ó hAilpín and fellow ex-Carlton player Bret Thornton have been moved on with the hope of GWS Giants making big trade movements for next season. The team's general manager Graeme Allen paid tribute to them, saying 'I want to thank all these players for their contribution to the club and wish them all the very best for the future.'
