I was doing some random trawling this morning, and came across one of the stranger stories from the fringes of Planet GAA. It seems that the Leitrim hurlers have been employing the services of a Semaco Moradi, known to the team as Zak. He plays club for Thomas Davis scored a point against Fermanagh last week.
"You can take up hurling at any age," he told the Hogan Stand. "You don't have to be playing in a team. You can do like I did and hit the ball against a wall. A Kilkenny hurler who won All-Irelands told me that."
Bloody hell. Here's the entire piece that Hogan Stand wrote about him.
