There was Galway senior hurling championship heartache for Oranmore-Maree as they were sent crashing out of the championship and into a relegation scrap after a last-gasp goal.
The 2018 All-Ireland intermediate club champions produced a brilliant turn-around to go from five points down at half-time to a winning position nearing full-time.
They were on the cusp of a place in the quarter finals as they led rivals Sarsfields by two points with three minutes of injury time played, only for disaster to strike.
A Sarsfields line-ball was controversially upgraded to a free, which they sent floating in towards the edge of the square in pursuit of a match-winning goal.
A two-point lead is the most dangerous lead in hurling and so it proved as Niall Quinn's long-ball was met with a swing of the hurl from John Cooney.
Cooney found the back of the net sealing a one point win for Sarsfields. It was their third win out of three sealing progression to the quarter finals but it was the other side of the coin for Oranmore-Maree.
Having finished bottom of the group on score-difference - themselves, Castlegar and Ardrahan were all on two points - Oranmore are now into a relegation battle.

Oranmore-Maree had shown good resilience earlier on in the group, coming back from a sixteen point defeat to Castlegar to defeat Ardrahan in the next round. Now they'll have to call on that resilience once again to retain their status as a senior club.
