Yesterday we made a joke – given that it was transfer deadline day in soccer – that Seanie Johnston was in the car park of, Cavan Gaels' home ground Terry Coyle Park and was refusing to leave. Well turns out we weren't that far off the mark.
Fair enough, he didn't need to resort to car park stake-outs but last night St Kevin's GFC announced that they have granted Seanie Johnston's transfer request.
Reports that Ed Woodward tried in desperation to sign him on loan are yet to be confirmed.
At a committee meeting this evening St. Kevin's have decided to grant Seanie Johnston's transfer request @kfmsport
