The papers are rife with football transfer gossip at this time of year but this morning we've got the rarest of beasts - some GAA transfer gossip.
And of course it involves Seanie Johnston.
Many joked after Kildare's elimination from the championship and Cavan's progression that he would be regretting his move to the Lilywhites. Now it seems that there's a shred of truth in those comments made in jest.
According to the Indo, there is much speculation that he will seek a transfer back to his old club, Cavan Gaels. Seanie moved to the St. Kevin's club in Kildare last summer and only became available for the Kildare football team after making an appearance for Coill Dubh in the Kildare Senior Hurling Championship.
Johnston came on as a second half substitute for Kildare in their round three qualifier loss to Tyrone on Saturday scoring one point (though it was an unwanted one really, when Kildare needed a goal rather than a single point).
The Indo say that it is unlikely he will play for St. Kevin's in the Kildare Football Championship and many within Cavan Gaels expect to see him return.
You know what they say Seanie, never go back.
