It's fair to say that Sean O'Mahonys were happy with winning the Leinster SFC quarter-final today.
It's well documented how special it is to win with your club. Winning one championship game with those you grew up with is special enough. Winning a county title is on another planet. As for reaching a provincial semi-final, that is an entirely different universe.
And that much was clear from the celebrations of Louth club Sean O'Mahonys after they beat Kildare champions Sarsfields by 1-08 to 0-8 in the Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-final today.
Somehow their words that they don't care "whether we win, lose or draw" don't seem quite true judging by their reaction to the win, as young and old joined in the jubilation.
There'll be some craic had by those players tonight.
