These are heady times for those of us who enjoy big grandstand finishes. Times where heroes get their chance at the most appropriate of goodbyes. Tomorrow we sit as a country sweaty palmed with hope filled bellies, urging the proper result to appear on our screens in the most fitting of amphitheaters. Where it all began.
Seamus O'Rourke is a Leitrim man, a sports fan, GAA mainly, but he like the rest of us, knows talent when he sees it. Upon request from ourselves at Balls.ie, he wrote and performed the following, in advance of a certain familiar looking fella's last game in the green shirt.
