As the clock ticked towards a replay in the All-Ireland semi-final between Galway and Tipperary, Joe Canning took the game by the scruff of the neck to send the Tribesmen into September.
Canning's 11th point of the game was his most important. Stuck out wide on the sideline, space at a real premium, he sent a remarkable shot over Darren Gleeson's bar.
In the RTÉ Studio sat two Galway men - presenter Michael Lyster and analyst Cyril Farrell. Also seated were Tipp man Liam Sheedy and the more impartial Henry Shefflin.
As the white flag was raised for Canning's point, Lyster and Farrell erupted with joy.
