It's the third Sunday of September, the day of the year which allows RTE dust itself off and flex its montaging muscles for the rest of the broadcasting world to see.
Here is the first to get you primed for Mayo/Dublin, set to Easter, 1916 by WB Yeats. Yeats was at the vanguard of the Gaelic revival, but focused his energies on the literary side of things, rather than the GAA. That hasn't prevented his work being appropriated for sport, however. (The quote in the tweet is by Ger Canning, and not from the poem, by the way).
