Roscommon defeated Galway by a point to claim the Allianz Football League Division 2 title.
It was a 1-20 to 0-22 win for Roscommon over their neighbours.
A sensational Diarmuid Murtagh goal in the 71st minute was the difference between the teams.
With the scores tied at 0-19 each, Murtagh somehow wriggled through the Galway defence before hitting a sensational strike beyond the goalkeeper's reach.

The two sides had been level at 0-9 each at the break. Midway through the second half, Roscommon had opened up a five-point advatnage, but they were reeled back in by Galway who took the lead with seven minutes of normal time to play. The sides traded points either side of Murtagh's goal.
"It's great to get a performance in Croke Park," Roscommon manager Anthony Cunningham told TG4.
"It's something that this group of players wanted to do. The last couple of times, it didn't work out the way they want it to up here. It's not often we get here. It could have gone either way.
"It was a tremendous goal. Diarmuid has that in his locker. He was out with the club there, they have a great run at it. He wasn't back for the first half of the season. He took it on, he steadied, he went again. It was a rocket. That's what won it for us. It see-sawed a lot. We were on the ropes there with 10 minutes to go."
Roscommon play the winners of New York and Sligo in the Connacht semi-final on May 1st, while Galway and Mayo play a week earlier in the quarter-finals.
