It took extra time to separate the minor hurlers of Wexford and Dublin on Saturday evening.
After the additional 20 minutes, Wexford emerged as victors by four points.
That did not look like being the outcome midway through the second half though. With the scores level, Dublin sub Ronan Hayes hit the back of the net to put his side ahead 1-9 to 0-9.
Hayes did so in remarkable fashion. After claiming a high ball, he garnered the attentions of two Wexford defenders. Despite their best efforts, Hayes still managed to turn and boot the sliotar past the Wexford keeper.
Wexford won the game 0-21 to 1-14.
This has to be one of the most remarkable goals witnessed in Innovate Wexford Park! Dublin goal from today's MHC pic.twitter.com/W72O6cIUKm
