Absolutely terrible and devastating news from County Down with reports claiming that Ulster centre/wing Nevin Spence died today alongside his father and brother in a slurry pit accident near Hillsborough.
The Leader understands that @ulsterrugby player Nevin Spence is one of three people to pass away tonight in an accident near Hillsborough

Spence, who'd been hampered by an injury, was not in the Ulster side that played Munster last night, but did start for the Ulster Ravens in their defeat against Munster A yesterday afternoon.
Devastated to hear the news about Nevin Spence and his brother and dad. Prayers with all his family... RIP Nev, you'll never be forgotten...

Spence was a rising star of Irish rugby who trained with Ireland's 6 Nations squad last year after 2 appearances with the Wolfhounds. Look at his work in the build-up to this try that he scored against Bath in last year's Heineken Cup group stage.
This try against the Dragons last year might have been the best try in career cut tragically short. What a loss for Ulster and Irish rugby.
