It's five weeks since the GAA announced that it had sold rights to 20 Championship games to Sky. In the meantime there has been much speculation about who they would hire to cover the games.

Earlier this week the Irish Examiner reported that Niall Quinn was favourite to be the face of Sky's GAA coverage and in today's Irish Independent they mention Sky Sports News presenter Rachel Wyse as another likely presenter.

The paper also reports on who the likely football analysts will be. They say that former Kerry footballer Paul Galvin and former Tyrone footballer and former Fermanagh manager Peter Canavan are the prime candidates.

Canavan has been a regular on TV3's coverage of the Football Championship since 2009 and Paul Galvin has appeared on TG4 for their coverage on the International Rules series.

There's no word yet on who their hurling analysts will be.

The first GAA game to feature on Sky Sports will be Kilkenny vs Offaly in the Leinster Hurling Championship on June 7th at Nowlan Park.
