Dublin champions St Vincent's are out of the Leinster Club Football Championship after Wicklow's Rathnew landed a massive upset, defeating the north Dublin side 1-13 to 1-9 in Aughrim.
St. Vincent's - featuring names such as Diarmuid Connolly, Mossy Quinn, Ger Brennan, Shane Carthy and Enda Varley - were heavy favourites coming into the quarter-final tie.
Quinn did his best to drag his side through after they found themselves behind at half-time, 0-7 to 0-6. He scored what appeared to be a vital goal in the 44th minute to put his team ahead by by two. However, it would be Vincent's final score of the game as Rathnew refused to be beaten.
Points from Paul Merrigan and then James Stafford would bring the Wicklow side level at 0-12 to 1-9.
Then, a Stafford goal in the 56th minute allowed Rathnew to reclaim their lead. Another score from Stafford four minutes later would give them the comfort of a four-point cushion which they held until the final whistle.

Vincent's had a two-week lay off having beaten Ballymun Kickhams in the Dublin final. They were 1/16 on to win the game, Rathnew were 15/2.
Rathnew have won the Wicklow county title 33 times but have struggled to kick on from there, having only won the Leinster title once ever in 2001.
The result blows the Leinster Championship wide open, as Rathnew go on the semi-final.
