Quinn's pub in Drumcondra, well-frequented by GAA fans heading to Croke Park, was shut down for two days following the All-Ireland hurling final on September 7th.
The order to close the premises was made by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland which does so when there is a "grave and immediate danger to public health".

According to a spokesperson for the FSAI, the closure lead to all foodstuffs in the basement of the pub being destroyed.
The whole pub was closed down. Everything that was in their basement you could eat had to be destroyed.
