PwC Ireland made three exciting GAA sponsorship announcements today at Croke Park.
It's been confirmed that PwC Ireland has renewed its sponsorship of the PwC All-Stars and PwC GAA/GPA Player of the Month awards for three more years.
PwC Ireland has also renewed its sponsorship of the PwC GPA Women’s Player of the Month awards.
It's been announced that PwC has also become the title sponsor of the PwC Camogie All-Stars.
“The All-Stars hold an iconic place in Irish sport," said GAA president Larry McCarthy. "These prestigious awards have stood the test of time as the foremost individual accolade in Gaelic Games, and since 1971 have been a byword for those players who stood out in a given season through their excellence and inspiration.
“The list of winners is a who’s who of the outstanding GAA players of the last 50 years and I am delighted that our successful partnership with PwC will continue and enhance this great institution in the GAA calendar. I also congratulate them on their support for the Camogie All-Stars and have no doubt that An Cumann Camogaíochta will reap similar rewards from their involvement with PwC.”
PwC Ireland have been a long-running sponsor of the GAA All-Stars, which celebrated their fiftieth birthday last year, and it's brilliant to see they'll now be sponsoring the Camogie All-Stars.
Hilda Breslin, president of the Camogie Association said she was 'delighted' with the news.
“We are delighted to announce this partnership with PwC which will ensure that the annual Camogie All-Star Awards continue to notice the achievements of our camogie players, through the All-Stars and Soaring Stars Awards.
“The Camogie All-Stars are a key feature of our annual calendar, enabling us to showcase and recognise the talents and skills of our Inter County players from across the island of Ireland, at all levels.”
