Limerick have accentuated their dominance of the PwC All-Star hurling nominations by ensuring it will be a Treaty County player who is named Hurler of the Year.
Corner-back Seán Finn, half-back Kyle Hayes and centre-forward Cian Lynch are the three nominees for the PwC GAA/GPA Hurler of the Year award. The winner will be decided by a vote from their fellow inter-county players.
Limerick half-forward Gearóid Hegarty won the award last year. Cian Lynch will be looking to win his second Hurler of the Year award. He was given the honour in 2018 following his county's first All-Ireland hurling title win in 45 years. Fellow nominee Kyle Hayes was named Young Hurler of the Year that season.
There are nominees from three different counties for the PwC GAA/GPA Young Hurler of the Year award. Kilkenny's Eoin Cody - who won the award last year - Cork's Shane Barrett, and Clare's Aidan McCarthy are the three players to get the nod in 2021.
