So you've been convinced to tog out on a Bank Holiday Monday evening, with the effects of a very long weekend still wreaking havoc with your head and bowels. Assigned a midfield role, you resign yourself to 60 (hopefully 30-40) minutes of sitting in front of the back six knocking the odd cultured pass here and there, with maybe a single foray into point scoring range to fully convince the manager to haul you off, so you can return to the pub.
It sounds like a fine plan, until you trot onto the pitch and offer a handshake to your opposite number... who happens to be Seán O'Brien.
The above scenario is likely to have happened to at least one poor member of Fennagh GAA last night, in the white-hot cauldron of Carlow Junior B football. O'Brien was a starter for the famed Fighting Cocks. Details of the game, and the Tank's involvement in it are pretty sketchy, but we know he plays when rugby commitments allow it. Terrifying stuff.
