RTE rolled out some grainy camcorder footage of Enda Kenny playing football yesterday. There's no close-up's so we have to take Jim Fahy on his word that it is actually Kenny kicking a goal and a point way back in 1981. (Question - why are all of the players on Enda Kenny's team wearing different colored shorts?) Regardless, we get the point - Kenny's GAA credentials back the point that the notion that he is a born leader. And have you heard about his halftime speeches. Rockne-esque apparently. The Score tried to expand on the 'Kenny as GAA captain' metaphor recently, but they made one critical mistake. We're not down two at half time. We're reliving the 2006 All-Ireland. We're Mayo. We're down 2-4 after 15 minutes. What can Kenny do to stop the behemoth?

]I find this photo of him at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro far more inspiring. Check out the Ray-Ban's. He's so gangsta.
