Though Páiric Uí Chaoimh was virtually empty for Sunday's Munster football final between Cork and Tipperary, there were still euphoric celebrations at full-time.

Tipperary beat Cork by three points to claim their first Munster title in 85 years. It was also the first occasion a team other than Cork or Kerry has won the provincial title since 1992.

The victory was claimed with Tipperary wearing replicas of the jerseys which the county donned 100 years ago on Bloody Sunday.

Sportsfile photographers were are the game to capture a historic day for the footballers of Tipp.
