Connacht got their first win of the Pro14 season on Saturday night as an Irish side had another easy win against one of the newcomers to the league.
The Southern Kings were defeated 32-10 by Kieran Keane's side.
Guests of honour at the Sportsground were the All-Ireland winning Galway hurlers. David Burke, Joe Canning, Micheál Donoghue and Co. got a huge reception at half-time as they paraded the Liam MacCarthy Cup.
The links between Connacht and the Galway hurlers is strong. Connacht captain John Muldoon is a Minor All-Ireland winner. He also played his hurling with Portumna, the same club as Joe Canning.
