The best young GAA talents in the country gathered at Croke Park on Saturday afternoon, as the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Star Awards took place.

All 30 members of the football and hurling teams of the year were on hand to pick up their awards, while the Footballer and Hurler of the Year were also be named.

It was a fitting occasion to mark what was an incredible summer of Electric Ireland GAA Minor Championships, with Kerry and Galway triumphing in football and hurling respectively. Some star names were there to hand out the awards, on what was a fantastic day for the young sportsmen and their families.

The next generation of talent has arrived, and judging by the standards on show this summer, the future of the GAA is in safe hands.
